DIY Solid Step Installation
I was asked by a friend on how hard it would be to install solid steps on their travel trailer. It was a good question, and I didn’t know the answer off hand. How hard could it be?
Then after some digging around online, I found a video tutorial on YouTube about installing these steps yourself. I have to say that this is a pretty well put together tutorial. Good enough to share here. So with the purpose of sharing only beneficial information, I’m sharing this video.
And I do have to give Leppert Components an “A” for listing the drill sizes you’ll need to complete this project.
Enjoy the video.

One thing to consider though...before you begin this DIY project...
DIY has its benefits, such as saving money by not having an RV service center installing your steps. However, I am obligated to at least inform you of the benefit of a service center installing the steps for you. Such as… well, if the stairs do not fit, or if they’re any unforeseen hiccups that DIY projects are notorious for, the service center has the tools and means available to professionally install the steps in a timely manner.
